Fastline Services Team Visit the Iconic Avro Vulcan

Earlier this week, the Fastline Services office team stepped away from their desks for a truly unforgettable experience, a visit to see the iconic Avro Vulcan , made possible by the incredible work of the Vulcan to the Sky Trust .

Despite a cold, foggy start to the morning, the atmosphere was full of excitement as the team arrived to see one of Britain’s most recognisable aircraft up close. We were also delighted to welcome TwentyFour IT as our guests, giving us the opportunity to share the experience together.

Some members of our group had the chance to sit inside the Vulcan’s cockpit . Stepping into such a historic space, surrounded by controls, switches, and stories from a different era  was an experience few of us will ever forget. It’s hard to put into words just how special it felt to be that close to an aircraft with such an important place in aviation history.

The visit was brought to life by the team at the Vulcan to the Sky Trust , whose passion, knowledge, and dedication were clear from the moment we arrived. Their enthusiasm for preserving the Vulcan and sharing its story is truly inspiring. Thanks to their commitment, this remarkable aircraft remains accessible for future generations to learn from and enjoy.

While the Vulcan itself was the centrepiece, the visit was also about spending quality time together as a team,  strengthening connections, sharing a unique experience, and stepping away from the day-to-day routine. Moments like these reflect what we value at Fastline Services: teamwork, community, and investing in our people.
